The authors demonstrate pathognomonic changes in the bones of the facial skeleton in beta-thalassemia, and discuss the features of the radiation pattern and the differential diagnosis of this pathology.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Одно из частых проявлений бета-талассемии - поражение костей скелета в виде локального или диффузного гиперостоза, несвоевременная диагностика которого приводит к ряду осложнений со стороны костно-суставной и нервной систем. Авторы статьи рассматривают патогномоничные изменения костей лицевого скелета при бета-талассемии, обсуждают особенности лучевой картины и дифференциальной диагностики данной патологии.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>hyperostosis</kwd><kwd>beta-thalassemia</kwd><kwd>children</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>гиперостоз</kwd><kwd>бета-талассемия</kwd><kwd>дети</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">1.
