Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a rare type of neoplasm in pediatric age group with intermediate biologic behaviour. Intestinal obstruction is a rare complication of IMT. The article describes the approaches for differential diagnosis and therapy of patients with intra-abdominal IMT based on the literature review. The case of 5-month-old boy with IMT of the small bowel mesentery is presented.

Воспалительная миофибробластическая опухоль (ВМО) - редкий вид новообразований детского возраста, характеризующийся промежуточным биологическим поведением. Еще реже данная опухоль осложняется кишечной непроходимостью. В статье изложены подходы к дифференциальной диагностике и лечению пациентов с ВМО брюшной полости, основанные на обзоре современной литературы. Приведено описание клинического случая развития острой кишечной непроходимости у ребенка 5 месяцев с ВМО брыжейки кишки. Ключевые слова: дети, воспалительная миофибробластическая опухоль, редкие опухоли, кишечная непроходимость, ALK.
